Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), is one of the most crucial, safe and effective supplements for neuropathy specially diabetic neuropathy, it is used extensively, despite its low bioavailability. Many drawbacks come from ALA low melting point, one is related to higher disintegration time during shelf life, that leading to low absorption and lower bioavailability, and the  most irritating to the manufacturers is the stickiness during capsule filling and tablet compression processes.
